While Alex is away recording in the US, he has captured some footage of his travels and time in the studio in Miami. He's edited together a bit of an abstract video for you, shot from his view point, so you really get a feel of seeing it through Alex's eyes! Keep an eye out for his appearance in the studio though!

circumstances Alex has had to pull out of the upcoming Pixie Lott tour.
We understand this will cause a lot of disappointment amongst Alex's
fans and he has expressed his sincere apologies to all those who have

Hi everyone

Got a busy few weeks ahead as we lead up to the release of my debut single 'I'm Not Mad' on 29th March! I have lots of TV appearances coming up - this week I've recorded The Chart Show and Freshly Squeezed on Channel 4 and next week I'm doing the Alan Titchmarsh Show on Tuesday and GMTV on Friday. Hope you can tune in and check it out!

I went to the premiere of Robert Pattinson's new film 'Remember Me' this week - the film is great, it was really exciting to walk the red carpet and I got to go for a drink with Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin before the film.

I also played a headline show at The Lexington in London and gave away tickets to some of you who left a cover song suggestion on my website - thanks to everyone for some great suggestions! We're going to go through them all and see which one I could possibly cover for a special performance for you soon - will keep you posted.

I've just had some more tour dates confirmed, supporting JLS on some of their summer tour! I'm also supporting Scouting For Girls and One Republic, so for full gig listings, check out the Live section on my website and I hope to see you at a show soon!

Back in the Studio & New Tour Dates!

Hey

Hope you're all well. This week I'm back at Xenomania HQ in the recording studio, working on the album! Feeling really inspired at the moment and recording is going great. Can't wait for you to hear the album as I've got a bit of something for everyone! Once I get some of the tracks finished off I'll give you guys some sneak previews of what's to come!

I've also had some new tour dates added, supporting One Republic in April - you can get tickets at gigsandtours - going to be a busy few months on tour, with the Scouting For Girls support dates aswell - so hope you can come along and see me live!

Heading back to Scotland next week for a few gigs, kicking off at the O2 ABC in Glasgow, will get to catch up with friends and family while back for a bit too!

The single is out in a few weeks, can't wait! Will keep you posted with news on that, and it's available for pre-order if you wanted to get in there first!

Hey guys

How is everyone doing?

Well I've been working hard on my debut album which will be out in the
summer, so in the meantime to give you a taster of what's to come I've
got a couple of clips from two new tracks that I want to share with
you.

'Heartbreak (No.1)' and 'You See With Me' have been added to the Myspace player - so take a listen and let me know what you think!

I'm set to go back into the recording studio beginning of March - I'm
so excited about the album, there is going to be something for everyone
on there, with some soulful ballads, after-hours love, pumping pop
tracks and aching dancefloor struts!

Also in March my first single 'I'm Not Mad' will be released! The video for it is set to premiere this week...will let you know the details soon!

'I'm Not Mad' Video Shoot

Hi everyone

Well next week is the premiere of my first music video for my debut
single 'I'm Not Mad' which was shot in LA and I wanted to give you guys
a quick sneak preview.

The making of the video was exciting as it was my first ever trip outside of Europe!

The set looked great, everyone was buzzing, until the night before
the shoot no models turned up and we had no girl for the video 10 hours
before shooting. Thankfully we got a girl on the morning of the shoot
who was amazing and everything turned out perfectly.

It was a 13 hour shoot and by the end everyone was falling to pieces
out of tiredness, but we were all definitely proud of the end result, I
hope you’ll all like it too.

Hi

How is everyone?

I've been on the road all of last week on a radio tour of the North -
met lots of cool people, so thanks to everyone at all the stations we
visited! You can check out a video interview I did at Hallam FM in Sheffield and find out what I've been up to and what is coming up!

I'm heading back down to London today as I've a couple of gigs coming up this week - first off I have a headline show at Cherry Jam on Wednesday and then really excited to be playing the Next Big Thing show at the Jazz Cafe with Paloma Faith on Thursday. Other London dates are on my Myspace. Then i’m heading back to Scotland in March for a few shows - so hope to see you at one of them soon!

I've been invited to the BRIT Awards next week, so looking forward to that. What do you guys think of this year's nominees?

I'll also be heading to some radio stations around the South from Monday - you can check my Twitter to keep up to date with where I'm going to be.

Hey everyone,

This week sees me and my guitarist Tommy on the road up North on a
radio tour! I'm doing lots of interviews and performing acoustic
sessions, so hope you get chance to have a listen.

It was good to be back in Scotland on Tuesday, went from radio
stations around Aberdeen, to Dundee and on to Glasgow - it's nonstop at
the mo! By Weds eve we headed down to Newcastle and today we're going
to be around West Yorkshire, Preston and Wigan - if you're in the area
why not come and say hi?

We're going to be on the road till next Monday and going through
Manchester, Stockport, Birmingham and Liverpool - stations we're
dropping into include The Pulse, Rock FM, Wish FM, Key 103, Real Radio

Hope you're all well!

Remember the other exciting news I had on Monday bar my first radio play?

Well, I'm pleased to announce that I'm confirmed as main support on the upcoming Scouting For Girls tour! Can't wait to play the same size of venues that I did with Paolo Nutini and The Script last year!

It’s been an exciting morning for me – my first play on Radio 1! My debut single ‘I’m Not Mad’ was featured on the Music Generator on Fearne Cotton’s show.

Something else big has also
happened that I can’t tell you about just yet but watch this space on
Thursday morning for the big announcement!

Hope to see you on Wednesday night when I play the New to Q show at the Tabernacle, London.

'I'm Not Mad' studio version preview

Hello,

Happy New Year! Hope you've all had a nice Christmas break, I had a nice quiet time in Scotland I am now ready to go for what's looking like a very exciting year!

First things first, you can go along to my MySpace page and listen to a snippet of the finished version of my debut single I'm Not Mad, let me know what you all think. It was also featured as Song of the Day on Popjustice on the 4th January, you can read what they had to say here.

As well as that, I've been lucky enough to have been included in some of the tips for 2010 as well with likes of HMV, Mirror, News of the World, The Scotsman, The Times, The Sun, Daily Star, Attitude and Music Week all tipping me for success this year!

Last weekend at Homecoming 2009 was great, thanks to all those who watched and listened, hope to see some of you again in the new year.

To give you a bit more of a taste of what's to come I've uploaded a video of me and the band playing an acoustic version of There Goes My Heart - just check out the videos page. You can download this track for free here. Check it out, hope you like it!
